On 26th Street in Vero Beach, Lodge #1774 is the kind of place where a Monday night karaoke crowd cheers on a first-timer just as loudly as a seasoned regular. Kim behind the bar knows your name. The Southern Sisters have your song cued up. And somewhere in the room, a table of volunteers is already planning the next community fundraiser.

The lodge has hosted everything from the Indian River Region AACA volunteer appreciation dinner to family reunions, club banquets, and charity drives that put real dollars back into Vero Beach schools, veterans programs, and local families in need. With a 4.4-star rating across more than 160 reviews, the membership here has built something that goes beyond a meeting hall.

This is the Elks at their best: a full-service lodge with a bar, event spaces, and a calendar packed with reasons to show up. Members and their guests come for the events and stay because the people make it worth returning.

What We Offer

Lodge #1774 offers far more than a meeting room. The event hall accommodates banquets, reunions, car club dinners, gala celebrations, and civic gatherings, with staff who can coordinate setup and bar service so organizers can actually enjoy their own event.

Weekly programming keeps the lodge lively year-round. Monday night karaoke draws a loyal crowd, and the Southern Sisters DJ setup covers decades of music with a computer library that rarely misses a request. The full bar is open to members and sponsored guests, with a welcoming atmosphere that regulars describe as genuinely friendly.

Beyond the social calendar, Elks Lodge #1774 channels member energy into charitable giving rooted in the BPOE mission: supporting veterans, funding youth scholarships, and responding to community needs across Indian River County. Membership opens the door to all of it.

"Our Indian River Region, AACA had a volunteer appreciation dinner. It was a thank you to the many club members who helped make our 46th annual car show the best ever."

"The vero beach Elks lodge treated my family like we were cage animals . We had a CLASSY gala for our family reunion and were constantly being watched and hounded . There was another event on the other side they were coming looking over at our event and even a few ppl went as far as walking over to our event bar when WE PAID THOSE BARTENDERS. It was very much racist how we were being watched constantly. We were told there was a noise ordinance when we were inside of a building so why does that apply ? Jane was out of place walking around looking at our food and watching are every move never attending to the event held by Caucasian folks next door . She watched us like we were dogs the entire time . This building will never get another dime of my money . It's racist and things we were promised was broken I will be demanding some of my money back as we were forced to shut down our event an hour early . Worst experience ever if you are black do not go here you will be treated like an animal ."
